A profile of New York Mayor and US Senator, David Bennet Hill (1843-1910)  In 1892, Hill made an unsuccessful bid to become American President on a platform of bimetalism (a monetary standard based on the value of both gold and silver) but lost the nomination to his long-term rival and former running mate Grover Cleveland.

Munsey's Magazine was a monthly journal published in New York between 1891 and 1929.
