Collection of newspapers,  mostly from the 1930s, issued by Fascist and Far Right organisations, held in a portfolio with stiff blue plastic covers and internally clear plastics sleeves.

The collection includes:

  1. European Action (badged as 'in support of the National Party for Europe') Special 50th Anniversary edition, No. 14, January/February 2008.  6pp with black and white illustrations.  Issued to mark 50 years since Sir Oswald Mosley spoke at the foundation meeting of the Union Movement on 7 February 1948, with various articles relating to the movement and its history. 

2.  A 'Say No to War' single page broadsheet (European Action Broadsheet No. 4) issued November/December 2007 looking at Sir Oswald Mosley's record on opposing war

3.  The Free American, self-proclaimed at The Battle Organ of Racial Fascism and An independent National Socialist Newspaper.  Undated but copyrighted 1965.  8pp, with black and white illustrations; and The Free American, No. 7, dated July-August 1976, 6pp with black and white illustrations; and The Free American, No. 4, Jan-February 1976, 12pp with black and white illustrations; The Free American, No.2, September 1875, 6pp, with black and white illustrations.  

4.  World Truth, May 1964.  4pp, with black and white illustrations, carrying a selection of anti-semitic articles. 

5.  RPS News No. 7, published by the Racial Preservation Society, undated but circa 1965.  4pp, black and white illustrations.  

6.  The Fascist, published by the Imperial Fascist Leagues and edited by the virulently anti-semitic  A S Leese, self proclaimed as the organ of Racial Fascism,, issues nos. 17, 29, 35, 60, 79, 92-95, 98-103, 106-114, 116-120, 122-124, all dating from between 1931 and 1939.  The Fascist was modelled on Julius Streicher's Der Sturmer (see below).  Leese was interned in the UK during the second world war but remained a major figure in British fascism until his death in 1956, 

7.  The British Independent, No. 8 (likely 1983), 4pp, black and white illustrations (with a lead article on the coloured birth rate danger); 

8.  Spearhead,  No. 1, Aug-Sept 1964, with a lead article on Global Race War.  6pp, with black and white illustrations.

8.  Freemason News (A Report on the Menace of Secret Societies), undated but likely mid 1970s, 4pp, with colour headlines and black and white illustrations.  

9. White Power - the Newspaper of the White Revolution, Vol 7, No. 6 (circa 1975). 12pp, with black and white illustrations.  

10.  Fact Finder - Britain's No. 1 Lie Detector, 4pp, with black and white illustrations.  Circa 1980.

11.  RPS Southern News, No. 5.

13.  A German language newspaper entitled Der Stürmer, dated May 1934.  This was a weekly German tabloid newspaper published from 1923 to the end of World War II by Julius Streicher, the Gauleiter of Franconia, It was a significant part of Nazi propaganda, and was virulently antisemitic.[1]

The newspapers are mostly British issued, some from the USA  and in English (except where stated and all in good or very good condition, with the older issues having a little page browning and some have some minor damage at edge and the occasional cracking along fold but all clean and neat throughout.  Some have been previously folded and have the associated crease across the middle.  

A wide ranging collection of right-wing publications containing some material which may be offensive.
