Volume XX of Chamber's Journal, containing all the issues of the journal from July to December 1863 bound into a single volume. viii, 416pp. Half bound in brown calf's leather over marbled boards, with gilt lettering and decoration on a five-panelled spine. All edges marbled. Brown endpapers. 8vo. Boards are rubbed around edges and along spine joints with some mild scuffing and rounded at corners and spine ends. Text block edges faded and dull. Front hinge cracked and some faint and occasional spotting to first and last few leaves else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
