A coffee-table style book retelling the first part of Douglas Adams' Hitch-hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, accompanied by rich and colourful illustrations and designs, many based on the film and TV series production. The volume features the '42 Puzzle' designed by Adams; a photograph of Adams and his literary agent Ed Victor as the two space copes and other designs by Kevin Davies. This edition is out of print: it is said that Adams bought all the remaining copies himself at one point. signed them, and then sold them on his own website (please not, this copy is not signed, so not one of those!).
