A new edition for 1837. [xl], 288pp. Half bound in tan leather over marbled paper-covered boards, gilt-stamped lettering on the spine. Green endpapers. 8vo. Boards are heavily worn, rubbed and scuffed all over, with leather chipped and cracked on corners and spine ends. Text block edges soft and dust darkened. Internally endpapers and first and last few pages have some staining and warpage, with a little browning throughout but generally clean and neat. Bookplate on front paste down (illegible) together with a label indicating the volume was once in the collection of Berkeley Divinity School with the date 1854.
