Both have a cover price of 2/-, suggesting neither are first printings as both are known with a cover price of 1/6/ In stiff card covers (with the classic 'white circle'). 12mos. Both volumes have a little gentle edge wear to card covers, slightly scuffed at spine tips. Peril at House End has a mild crease along the front fold; Crooked has has some very mild page toning to text block edges and first and last few pages, else neat, clean, bright and tight.
